Things I learned in Iceland:

• Damn it, it’s beautiful there.
• Damn it, it’s expensive there.
• Each hot spring has its own charm.
• If a road says “closed”, it’s absolutely, positively impassable. (I may or may not have learned the hard way.)
• Try to book the Blue Lagoon for a day with *reasonable* weather. Like not rain, sleet, snow, torrential winds.
• Never (I repeat: NEVER) get cocky flying your drone. Stay humble, my friends.
