A couple of years ago, I stumbled upon a quote:

“I always wonder why birds choose to stay in the same place when they can fly anywhere on the earth, then I ask myself the same question.”

… and thereafter, I caught the wanderlust bug.

They say the young are restless. Well, guilty as charged. The only thing helping me retain my sanity nowadays is the prospect of discovery. Of new places, new people, new things.

So far, I’ve traveled to 10 countries outside of the United States and 22 states within.

I’m a techie (loosely defined) working in Silicon Valley. Engineering background. Zero blogging experience. Not a writer. You get the point. But I hope to share my traveling experiences and lessons learned with those who will listen or read. (Additionally, this blog serves as a way for my friends and family to know I’m alive while I’m on the road. So practical!)
